Multimedia Manual of Cardio-thoracic Surgery
Multimedia Manual of Cardio Thoracic Surgery (MMCTS) was one of many projects where I was involved with from the initial kick-off meeting with our client, up to the launch of the website. MMCTS now has an entirely new video-focused design and structure. The site has been rebuilt from the ground up – it is more like a reference hub and less like a journal. The new design is crisp and modern, the structure is clear, and it is simple to navigate. And, because the editors understand that surgery is not an office-based business, it works just as well on a smartphone or tablet as it does on a desktop. Our objective was to make the site accessible anywhere – in the office, at home, or in the operating room.
Project Overview
The Multimedia Manual of Cardio-thoracic Surgery (MMCTS) is produced by The European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS). MMCTS is the world’s premier video-based publication for surgeons, freely accessible, and essential, for all.
Key Objectives
To allow surgeons and specialists to access training videos on cardiovascular and thoracic surgery across multiple devices. Since its launch, MMCTS has published over 500 tutorials and case reports and still in use today
